Social Harmony and Development Organization was formed in the year 1999 to create a peaceful and just Society. Social Harmony is a
         unique concept and newly introduced by Christian Study Centre, in various areas of District Sialkot-Pakistan.

         Christian Study Centre, Rawalpindi, provided financial assistance to establish Social Harmony and Development Organization and further
         provided assistance of training to the SHADO staff to run the Social Harmony Program in the community with authority and commitment.
         Although, at first stage there was only two persons which received the training, but managed to educate and aware as many community
         members and NGO workers about the new concept, which further gathered great interest and motivation in the community members.

         Social Harmony and Development Organization posses highly educated and talented Board Members who are God Fearing and have a Heart
         of creating Peace among the community. The Board Members are very active and diligently participate in all the programs of the organization
         and provide valuable suggestions and ideas to develop the concept of Social Harmony and other programs among the community, so that the
         process of development may be strengthened and community members may improve their status.

         Social Harmony and Development Organization managed to conduct several Social Harmony Programs in various areas of Sialkot and further
         made various organizations as its members who are now working as branches of SHADO and promoting the concept of Social Harmony in there
         areas to develop a just and peaceful community.

         Social Harmony and Development Organization believes that development of community can not be done unless Social Harmony is being created
         among the community members, and for such reason our organization will continue to conduct Social Harmony programs for the development of
         community. Although it is a difficult subject to work, but still without it, we can not develop a normal and peaceful mind of a common man.

         Beside, creating Social Harmony within the communities, our organization is also involved in various development programs, which are essential
         for uplifting the deprived community. The programs which we target to develop the community is Mother and Child Health Care Program, Free
         Distribution of Food Items to community members living below the poverty line, Free Books Distribution to the children who wishes to continue
         there education but there parents are unable to provide course books to them, Awareness of Women Rights and to Eradicate the inhumane laws
         and practice in the community, so that the process of development may grow in positive direction and the ultimate advantage will go to the
         deprived and un-reached community members of our beloved country. SHADO is also working on the Rehabilitation of Disabled Children for the last
         one year and have successfully managed to provide rehabilitation facility to 10-disabled children, through operation, providing them braces and
         even school fees too.
